About ¡Dos! album

¡Dos! is the tenth studio album by the American punk rock band Green Day. The album was released on November 9, 2012 in Australia, November 12 in the United Kingdom and on November 13 in the United States through Reprise Records. It is the second of three albums in the ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! trilogy. Following its predecessor's pop punk style, ¡Dos! was billed as Green Day's take on garage rock

In an interview with Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt, it was stated that ¡Dos! was going to have a "more garage rock—a little dirtier, like you're in the middle of the party" feel to it, similar to their side band Foxboro Hot Tubs. In a couple of interviews, Armstrong even went as far as calling ¡Dos! "the second Foxboro album." The track "Fuck Time", originally performed as a Foxboro Hot Tubs song, was recorded for the album.

Unlike the other two albums in the trilogy, this album features thirteen tracks instead of twelve. The thirteenth track "Amy" is dedicated to the late Amy Winehouse. The song "Nightlife" features guest vocals from artist Lady Cobra from the band Mystic Knights of the Cobra. The song is one of the slower and darker songs from the trilogy and has Lady Cobra rapping in her respective parts of the track.

Release And Promotion

A trailer for the album was released on June 21, 2012 on the band's YouTube channel, it included a preview of the song "Fuck Time". A preview of the song "Lazy Bones" was featured in a special Green Day themed level pack of Angry Birds Friends. Green Day also released previews of the songs "Stray Heart", "Makeout Party", "Wild One", "Fuck Time", "Lady Cobra" and "Nightlife" during an interview on BBC Radio One. A very short preview of the song "See You Tonight" was featured in one of their tour videos. On October 3, 2012, Green Day officially announced the track list for the album on their website. The songs "Stop When The Red Lights Flash", "Amy" and "Nightlife" were featured on the episode "Unspoken" of CSI: NY alongside "Kill the DJ" from ¡Uno! and from "The Forgotten" from ¡Tré!, narrating the first dialogue-free 30 minutes of the episode. An official trailer was released on October 15 and featured previews of "Stop When The Red Lights Flash", "Fuck Time", and "Stray Heart". "Stop When The Red Lights Flash" is featured in EA Games's Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2012). The song is now available to listen to on the game's official soundtrack.

NFS : Most Wanted 2012

The album was officially released to listen by Green Day on the Rolling Stone website on November 6. Initial vinyl copies of ¡Dos! feature "Drama Queen" (from ¡Tré!) instead of "Stray Heart" due to the fact that they were pressed before the two tracks were swapped. A clean version of the track "Fuck Time" was released under the name "F-Woo Time".

About Warning album

Warning is the sixth studio album by American punk rock band Green Day, released on October 3, 2000, by Reprise Records. Building upon its predecessor, Nimrod (1997), the album eschewed the band's trademark punk rock sound and incorporated acoustic elements and pop and folk styles. Lyrically, the record contains more optimistic and inspirational themes in comparison with the band's earlier releases. Warning was also Green Day's first album since Kerplunk (1992) that was not produced by Rob Cavallo, although he did have a hand in its production and was credited as executive producer.

Despite mixed criticism towards the band's stylistic change, the album received mostly positive reviews from music critics, who praised vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong's songwriting. Although it peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 chart, Warning represented the lowest commercial slump in Green Day's career, being the band's first album since signing to a major record label not to achieve multi-platinum status. The album has nonetheless been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, for shipments of 500,000 copies in the United States. Warning was reissued on vinyl on July 14, 2009.

About Insomniac album

Dookie gave Green Day success, but it was never really clear whether they wanted it in the first place. However, given the incessantly catchy songwriting of Billie Joe, the success made sense. Green Day were traditionalists without realizing it, learning all of their tricks through secondhand records and second-generation California punk bands. They didn't change their sound in the slightest after signing to a major label, which meant that they couldn't revert back to a harsher, earlier sound as a way to shed their audience for Dookie's follow-up, Insomniac.

Throughout Insomniac, there are vague references to the band's startling multi-platinum breakthrough, but the album is hardly a stark confessional on the level of Nirvana's In Utero. It's a collection of speedy, catchy songs in the spirit of the Buzzcocks, the Jam, the Clash, and the Undertones, but played with more minor chords and less melody and recorded with a bigger, hard rock-oriented production. While nothing on the album is as immediate as "Basket Case" or "Longview," the band has gained a powerful sonic punch, which goes straight for the gut but sacrifices the raw edge they so desperately want to keep and makes the record slightly tame.

Billie Joe hasn't lost much of his talent for simple, tuneful hooks, but after a series of songs that all sound pretty much the same, it becomes clear that he needs to push himself a little bit more if Green Day ever want to be something more than a good punk-pop band. As it is, they remain a good punk-pop band, and Insomniac is a good punk-pop record, but nothing more.

Insomniac is the fourth studio album by the American punk rock band Green Day. It was released on October 10, 1995 through Reprise Records. Though it peaked at number two in the United States and went double-platinum (according to the RIAA) by 1996, Insomniac did not have the sales endurance of its predecessor, Dookie, largely due to its slightly darker lyrical tone and heavier, more abrasive sound. Insomniac is the band's third-best selling album behind Dookie and American Idiot with sales at over 8 million worldwide and 2,076,000 copies in the US alone. The album was reissued on vinyl on May 12, 2009.

Green Day

Green day is an American Punk rock band formed in 1987. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt, Drummer Tre Cool and guitarist & backing vocal Jason white, who became full member after playing in the band as a session and touring guitarist for 13 years.Cool replaced former drummer John Kiffmeyer in 1990, prior to the recording of the band's second studio album, Kerplunk (1992).
Billie Joe Armstrong
Billie Joe Armstrong (born February 17, 1972) is an American rock musician and occasional actor, best known as the lead vocalist, main songwriter, and guitarist for the American punk rock band Green day, Raised in Rodeo, California, Armstrong developed an interest in music at a young age, and recorded his first song at the age of five. He met Mike Dirnt while attending elementary school, and the two instantly bonded over their mutual interest in music, forming the band Sweet Children when the two were 15 years old.

Mike Dirnt
Michael Ryan Pritchard (born May 4, 1972) is an American musician, best known as thebassist, backing vocalist and co-founder of the American rock band Green Day, He has also played in several other bands, including The Frustator. As a result, his schoolmates began to call him "Mike Dirnt".

I was a little reggae-happy and into fancier beats than was needed. It took me awhile to get it: Play the song, don't play the instrument. I started figuring out how to make the band a stronger unit, to make it jump. After playing with Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt, Cool adopted a more rhythmic style with less drum fills to match Dirnt's bass riffs.

John Kiffmeyer
John Kiffmeyer (also known as Al Sobrante), (born July 11, 1969) was the original drummer of the punk rock band Green Day. He was given his nickname in reference to his hometown, El Sobrante. but he was replaced by Tre cool in 1991, John was replaced by Tre cool to Attend college.
